Senior Events and Courses Manager to take ownership of a diverse and dynamic portfolio of events, courses and camps.
At Millfield Enterprises, you'll play a pivotal role in
driving revenue growth, developing new business opportunities, and delivering exceptional customer experiences across our outstanding campus facilities.
Leading a dedicated team, you will oversee the
full lifecycle of events from sales and planning through to delivery and post-event evaluation ensuring every experience meets the highest standards.
What you'll be doing Leadership & team development - Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team, fostering a motivated, customer-focused culture
- Manage day-to-day operations, resourcing and performance to achieve departmental objectives
Commercial growth & sales - Drive sales and promotion of events, courses and camps to grow revenue and market reach
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and partnerships
- Oversee pricing strategies, costings and commercial negotiations
Event & operational delivery - Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of residential and non-residential events
- Act as a key on-site contact, ensuring seamless delivery and operational excellence
- Optimise use of facilities and continuously improve processes and systems
- Work collaboratively as part of a dynamic recruitment team
Customer & stakeholder engagement - Build strong relationships with clients, partners and internal stakeholders
- Manage the full customer journey from enquiry through to post-event follow-up
- Work collaboratively with marketing to promote activities and enhance visibility
Systems, reporting & compliance - Oversee bookings, contracts and accurate system management
- Produce financial and performance reports, including forecasting and insights
- Ensure high standards of administration and data management
Safeguarding & compliance - Act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL), supporting a strong safeguarding culture
- Ensure all activities are delivered in line with safeguarding, health & safety and compliance requirements
What we're looking for You'll thrive in this role if you are:
- Commercially minded, with proven experience in events, hospitality or commercial operations
- An effective leader, with experience managing and developing teams to achieve results
- Highly organised, multi-tasker with strong project management skills and attention to detail
- An excellent communicator, able to build lasting client and stakeholder relationships
- Systems-savvy, confident using CRM systems and reporting tools
- Adaptable and proactive, comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Results-driven, with a focus on delivering both exceptional experiences and business growth
What you'll receive - £30,000 - £33,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Hours of work This is a full-time, year-round role working
35 hours per week on a rota basis.
- During peak periods (including school holidays), flexibility is required, with evening and weekend working
- During term time, working patterns are typically Monday to Friday, with shifts of:
- 8.30am - 4.00pm
- 10.00am - 5.30pm
