The Ted Wragg Trust is looking for an enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist to join our growing, innovative Speech & Language Service. Since launching in 2020, our service has expanded rapidly and now supports thousands of children and young people across our large family of schools.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a forward thinking team that is transforming communication outcomes for children across Devon.
About the role As part of our specialist team, you will:
- Deliver assessment and intervention for children and young people with speech, language and communication needs.
- Work collaboratively with school staff, families and other professionals.
- Support schools to develop communication friendly environments.
- Deliver training and build the confidence of school staff.
- Help shape and develop our growing Trust wide Speech & Language Service.
No two days are the same, giving you the opportunity to work across a variety of educational settings and make a lasting difference.
About you You will:
- Be a qualified Speech and Language Therapist.
- Be HCPC registered (or eligible for registration).
- Have excellent communication and relationship building skills.
- Be passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people.
- Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Be motivated, proactive and keen to contribute to an ambitious, growing service.
