We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated professional to lead our English Department here at Isca Academy. As either Assistant Headteacher English or Head of Department (dependant on the right candidate), you will be passionate about providing and promoting a clear direction for the English team, within the context of our Academy vision in order to contribute to whole school improvement.
This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional person to really make their mark and improve the quality of teaching and learning, providing effective leadership for our incredible English teachers and promoting the very highest standards in English teaching to ensure all students achieve their potential.
At Isca Academy, we believe every child matters. We are committed to ensuring every young person feels known, valued and inspired to achieve more than they ever imagined. We are passionate about an exceptional education for every child regardless of background or need, and we believe in the power of education to transform lives and make the world a better place. We want every child to know they matter, feel empowered to dream big and achieve those dreams, and we strive for colleagues to join us who believe in their potential as strongly as we do.
Team Isca is full of energy, optimism and a genuine love for what we do. We are a team who work hard, lift each other up, have fun along the way and truly love coming to work. Our sense of joy, connection and commitment to each other and our children is part of what makes our school so special.
