Lift Maltings is seeking an Exams Officer to lead and manage all aspects of the examination process , ensuring examinations are delivered efficiently, securely and in line with awarding body regulations.
This is a key role within the school, working closely with senior leaders, teaching staff, invigilators and examination boards to ensure every examination runs smoothly and students are fully supported throughout the process.
In this role, you will: - Manage the full examination cycle, including entries, amendments, withdrawals and liaison with awarding bodies.
- Coordinate examination timetables, student schedules and communication with staff and students.
- Organise examination rooms, seating plans, invigilators and special access arrangements.
- Ensure all examinations are conducted in accordance with JCQ and awarding body regulations.
- Lead and support a team of invigilators, including training and deployment.
- Manage results days, examination certificates, appeals and enquiries about results.
- Coordinate internal examinations, including timetabling, venue management and invigilation arrangements.
- Maintain the highest levels of confidentiality, accuracy and compliance throughout the examination process.
About Lift Maltings Lift Maltings is an 11-16 school based in Witham, Essex. Situated between the cities of Chelmsford and Colchester, the school has 900 students on roll and benefits from a modern, purpose-built site opened in 2011.
