Cranbrook Education Campus is seeking a dedicated, compassionate and highly motivated Inclusion Keyworker to join our thriving secondary phase team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference to the lives of young people by supporting students who require additional pastoral, behavioural and emotional support to fully engage in education.
Working closely with the Inclusion Team, pastoral leaders, SEND staff and teaching colleagues, the successful candidate will help create a safe, supportive and inclusive environment where every student can succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide targeted pastoral and inclusion support for identified students.
- Build positive and trusting relationships with students and families.
- Support students with social, emotional and behavioural needs.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, tutors and external agencies.
- Monitor attendance, behaviour and wellbeing, helping students overcome barriers to learning.
- Contribute to intervention programmes, restorative approaches and reintegration support.
- Promote high expectations, resilience and positive engagement across the secondary phase.

- Has experience working with young people in an educational, pastoral or support role.
- Demonstrates empathy, patience and strong communication skills.
- Can remain calm and solution-focused in challenging situations.
- Is committed to inclusion, safeguarding and student wellbeing.
- Works effectively as part of a team while also using initiative independently.
- Has a genuine passion for helping young people achieve their potential.
The post is initially fixed term for 1 year linked to a review of the Inclusion team staffing requirements for the academic year 2027/2028.
