Lift Four Dwellings Primary, part of Lift Schools, is seeking to appoint a Classroom Teacher to join our committed and supportive team. This role is suitable for an Early Career Teacher (ECT).

About the Role

As a Classroom Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning, ensuring pupils are supported to achieve their full potential both academically and personally.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ECT to begin their teaching career in a supportive and well-structured environment, where coaching, mentoring and professional development are prioritised.

You will plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire a love of learning, while maintaining high expectations for behaviour, progress and achievement. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a consistent, ambitious approach to teaching, supporting pupils in developing the knowledge and skills they need for future success.

The school is led by Head of School, Jaime Bryan, whose passionate and ambitious leadership is driving continued improvement across the school. She is committed to creating a culture where both pupils and staff can thrive.

Working alongside Regional Executive Principal, Mrs Michelle Court, the school has seen significant progress in recent years, achieving its first 'Good' Ofsted rating in 2023 and now striving towards Outstanding.

We place a strong emphasis on early reading and phonics, with all staff trained in delivering the Read Write Inc. programme, ensuring a consistent and rigorous approach to developing pupils' reading, writing and communication skills.

We are also entering an exciting new phase of development, with the introduction of a new nursery provision for two-year-olds, alongside our existing 3-4-year-old nursery, opening in September 2026.

Key Responsibilities of the Role

The successful candidate will:

Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that engage and inspire pupils
Assess, monitor and track pupil progress, adapting teaching where needed
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development
Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and share best practices
Contribute to the wider life of the school

We are looking for someone who:

Is a qualified teacher (or due to qualify)
Is suitable for an ECT or early in their teaching career
Has a strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
Is passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and learning
Has high expectations of pupils' behaviour and achievement
Is reflective, motivated and committed to continuous professional development
Works well as part of a team and builds positive relationships
